First one of the year!

Hello friends and strangers.

I don't really think many people, if any, will read this. I HIGHLY doubt that those who do read this will read it often. I really don't even know if I'll update and post as much as I'd like to...but here goes.

I'm gonna be honest - most of this blog is going to be about me. I would say that I don't like talking about myself, my ideas, and my thoughts on culture, religion, music, what-have-you...but that's a lie. I DO enjoy talking about all of those things, and I DO enjoy thinking that people actually read this stuff. So, please, if you do read this and decide never to come back, just don't let me know and I won't know any different!

So, dear reader, that being said, I hope to entice you enough with my first few postings that you will be hoovered in. You'll find my thoughts some/all of the following: thrilling, inspiring, hysterical, selfish, egotistical, honest, deep, throught-provoking. I encourage comments on topics that I write about - I like to hear what others think just about as much as I like to talk. I also enjoy writing, which is much of the reason why I'm doing this - I have a lot to say, and I am SO much better at putting my thoughts down in written form than speaking them aloud.

I promise to be honest when I write in this blog. Some of the subjects I bring up or my opinions my not be ones you want to read, and that's fine.  This isn't an outlet designed to please people. This is designed to please MYSELF.  My life, my views, my blog...that I want to share with you!
